Robert Henri
Artist, teacher and staunch defender of the principle of artistic independence, Henri was one of the most significant figures in the history of American art in the first decade of the 20th century. He made his greatest impact as a teacher. He taught several of the artists represented in the Stark Museum’s Collection including William Herbert Dunton.
