The W.H. Stark House and Stark Museum Closed for Christmas Holiday
ORANGE, Texas, December 18, 2009 –The W.H. Stark House and the Stark Museum of Art will both be closed to the public on Christmas Eve Day, December 24, and Christmas Day, December 25. Both facilities will reopen Saturday, December 26 at 10 a.m. and will return to their respective hours of operation at that time.
Normal operating hours for The W.H. Stark House are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Because the Carriage House of The W.H. Stark House is temporarily closed, all tours of the Stark House begin at the Stark Museum of Art until further notice. Admission for tours of the Stark House is $5.00 for adults ages 18 to 65, $2.00 for seniors ages 65 and older and $2.00 for youth ages 10 to 17. Tour participants must be 10 years of age or older. Special group pricing is available for group tours that are scheduled in advance.
The Stark Museum of Art’s normal operating hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Museum is located at 712 Green Avenue and offers free admission. Group tours are available by appointment.
