Wonderful Weavings Family Day

1/30/2010 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.   Free for all ages.   Join us for tours of the special exhibition Entwined across the Ages: Illuminated Manuscripts and Tapestries.   Watch a live tapestry demonstration by Blaine Davis, member of the Contemporary Handweavers of Houston.    Help build a giant weaving wall, and weave a work of art to take home.  Enjoy a scavenger hunt, prizes, refreshments and more!   Campers weaving at Colors to Dye For, a program of the Stark Museum of Art and Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center.
